Summary/Abstract: This research reconstructs Edith Stein’s approach to Martin Heidegger’s ontological philosophy in respect of the thesis “Being and Time” (Sein und Zeit). According to the latest surveys, it is attempted to answer the being-in-the-world (Dasein) problem issues addressed in Stein’s works “Finite and Eternal Being” (Endliches und ewiges Sein), “The Structure of the Human Person” (Der Aufbau der menschlichen Person), “Potency and Act” (Potenz und Akt), and articles “Phenomenological Outlook” (Die weltanschauliche Bedeutung der Phänomenologie), “Martin Heidegger’s Existential Philosophy” (Martin Heideggers Existential philosophie). The concepts of the vocation, finite and eternal being are highlighted based on Stein’s concept of authentic being.
