Summary/Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to present all the means expressing the category of possessivness in the old Croatian language. As the term itself is very extensive the transliterated text entilted Kolunićev zbornik written in 1486 was taken as the basis. The base of the text is the cakavian ikavian dialect, nevertheless, it also contains the elements of the old church Slavonic language as well as the elements, mainly lexical ones, of kajkavian dialect. As the paper does not present a detailed description of the category of possessivness that is why only basic terms connected with it are explained. Among the means expressing the category of possessivness the use of the possessive genitive should be indicated as the most frequent and most popular. The results of the analysis and the role od possessive means in the standard Croatian language are presented in the final paragraph.
