Summary/Abstract: With the fascist occupation there was felt more than ever the need for a patriotic organization, which would lead to the national struggle of the Albanian people for national liberation. This important task could not be accomplished by the Zogist regime, which, although it did not follow Zog into exile but remained in Albania, quickly became part of the occupation regime by penetrating even into its structures.
