Effectiveness of functioning of non-profit organization on the example of the Hospice Foundation. Case study

Summary/Abstract: In the paper there are shown proposals of measures, enabling the evaluation of the non-profit organization on the example of the Hospice Foundation. The main purposes are: a) the promotion and the development of the palliative-hospice keeping of sick people, b) care of families and friends of terminal sick people (of adults and children), c) development of voluntary services, d) social education. In the work there are measures for the realization of individual targets (dividing them on more detailed) and normal tendencies of these measures are determined (growing, decreasing). There were used financial measures, based mainly on relations of income, costs and employment, but above all there were determined nonfinancial measures, examining the effectiveness of the achievement of the goals of the Foundation.
