Towards maximizing the effectiveness of the organization – universalistic, contingency and institutional perspective

Summary/Abstract: Organizations are continuously looking for possibilities to maximize their effectiveness. Literature contains many theoretical perspectives which are useful for analyzing the issue of effectiveness. Therefore, the aim of this article is to present the arguments for each of the three perspectives: universalistic, contingency, and institutional, which may create opportunities to improve the effectiveness of the organization and increase its chance to meet the market demands.
