Summary/Abstract: The paper presents an experience to teach Linear Algebra with the system of Computer Algebra - Mathematica. The both approaches are compared – traditional one and with Mathematica. The main changes concern syllabus, tasks, organization, instructions. A conclusion is made that three forms are needed for effective teaching Mathematics – lectures (theoretical part), tutorials (application of the theory), laboratory work (system Mathematica functionality). A set of examples are shown as a demonstration of the new approach. The results of the both approaches are compared.
