Jan Ciemniewski's concept of education for independence (based on the works until 1918)

Summary/Abstract: In this article I examine the issue of education for independence, which appears in the early work of Jan Ciemniewski. In particular, I focus on the relationships which according to him exist between character education and the rebirth of Polish independence. I also present his project for building the freedom and greatness of an independent Poland.
