Summary/Abstract: This contribution is the national report submitted at the workshop on Human Rights, held at the International Congress of Comparative Law, Vienna, 2014. The report tries to grasp the general picture of social and economic rights and their constitutional protection in Romania, as well as the reflection into and influence of the case-law of the European Court of Human Rights on the topic of social rights.
