Summary/Abstract: The article presents the a brief overview of the liturgy at the end of antiquity (5th–7th centuries). The author introduces the reader to the political situation of the empire in the late fifth and sixth centuries. Then presents a celebration of the Mass at the end of the 6th century, and in the 7th century. The rest of this article lists the sources from this period: Sacramentarium Veronense, Gelasianum Vetus, books for lectors and books of chants. The article concludes with the celebration of the liturgy according to the Ordo Romanus Primus.
