Summary/Abstract: The renowned 20th century English writer Aldous Huxley was one of the authors who portrayed the relationship between science and literature in most of their work. He fervently believed in the possibility of reconciling the seemingly divergent fields of science and art, thus continuing a tradition in his family. Although an eye condition that Huxley contracted in his youth prevented him from pursuing a scientific career, he passionately continued to update his knowledge on the latest scientific discoveries and to write about the controversial topics of the time. Also, the writer frequently attended scientific meetings, conferences and congresses in his fields of interest, where he was often invited to deliver an address. Therefore, Huxley included, both in his non-fiction and in his fiction, various scientific elements, from controversial topics to predictions in the field of biotechnology, or the role of psychoactive substances, thus having an important contribution to the popularization of modern biological sciences and technologies.
