Summary/Abstract: The article presents the elements of Stanislaw Ignacy Witkiewicz’s historiosophy includedin the drama titled Gyubal Wahazar. The author shows that Witkacy’s diagnosesnot only preserve their relevance, but aptly describe the problems of contemporary postmodern society as well.
