Summary/Abstract: The volume Lingua Madre duemilasei is a collection of stories, published with the first edition of the contest ŖLingua Madreŗ. The volume is the result of an initiatiative which aiming at two main goals: on the one hand, to bring to the fore the generations of migrant women who write, manifesting a close relationship between thought and language, and, on the other hand, to communicate to the others the realities in the countries those women come from. The volume includes stories narrated by Morrocan, Senegalese, Vietnamese, Indian, Romanian, Argentinian and Italian women who participated on the above mentioned contest. Some of them represent real life stories, and others, true documentaries of very faraway journeys. It is the outcome of a synthesis between two worlds: the world of the country of origin and the world of the host country. The language used in writing is Italian, according to the residence country where the contest has been held. In the present volume, there are four texts written by Romanian authors: Ana Alexandra Onea, Oggi ho deciso di scrivere, Alina Popa, Ciò che è rimasto di quei giorni felici, Rita Takàcs, Identità, and Valentina CălugăreanuŔTihenchi, Dal diario di Elena.
