Summary/Abstract: Dimitrie Anghelřs prose has a special epic structure and it is concerned about the mixture of epic and lyric. With both Romanticism and Symbolism influences, the short prose has a variety of themes. With a bidimensionally worldview, the author uses a lexical variety in which we can easily distinguish the ability of a refined intellectual to alternate the neologism with the true-born word. Thus, the critics recognize Dimitrie Anghelřs merit to have enriched the expressive means of Romanian literature. He introduces in his poems in prose the matching, the decorative and fairy vision, a special musicality and a certain rhythm. His remembrance is evocative and affective with true colour spots matching impressionistic characteristics. The proseřs modernity consists in resizing D. Anghelřs contribution to place Romanian literature on a European scale.
