A FEW DOCUMENTS ABOUT STEFANICA CRNOJEVIĆ, THE DUKE OF ZETA

Summary/Abstract: The paper contains four overlooked documents about Stefanica Crnojević, the Duke (vojvoda) of Zeta; the documents are published according to the copies in the collection of documents from Kotor made by Antonio Bisanti and dating from the 18th century. Three documents are directly concerned with Stefanica’s entry into Venetian service 1451– 1452, while the fourth concerns his plea for military help in 1460, in expectation of an attack from the Turkish commander of the Medun Fortress.
