Motor disability of a teenager is a common factor affecting parents’ as a couple’s personal relationships, career development, family leisure, as well as economic, social, cultural and symbolic capital development. According to the French sociologist Pierre Bourdieu’s sociological theory, field and habitus concepts, the article from the sociological point of view analyses adolescence touched by motor disability and teenager’s habitus formation. Attention is paid to a teenager with motor disability and the challenges emerging to his family in the family social field.
