REFERENCE FORMS. PRAGMATIC FUNCTIONING

Summary/Abstract: The pragmatic approach of anaphore allows the designation of the reference of an imaginary discourse universe. This complex form of reference has various stylistic, pragmatic implications, able to radically change a perspective. In the discursive practice we have signaled on one hand aspects of referential continuity (cumulative anaphore), and on the other hand realizations of nominal indexed expressions. For this perspective, the postmodern poetic text shades significantly the pragmatic rhetoric. The theoretical corpus corresponding to the research maintains the opinions regarding the complexity of the phenomenon, which generated various approaches.
