Summary/Abstract: Our article talk (once again) about the literary history; it calls into question the relationship, not very good, between the Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte and the French writer Madame de Staël in the early nineteenth century. Devoid of all civic and political rights, like all women at that time, Madame de Staël has established herself before the most important statesman of Europe by her intelligence and by the great power of her writings.
