Summary/Abstract: The period between March and June 2014 was a crucial time for the Crimean Tatar national movement. The events which took place then have determined the fate of the Crimean Tatars under the current Russian occupation, as well as resolving the Tatar issue in the long term, both in occupied Crimea and mainland Ukraine.
