Summary/Abstract: Contributions to the knowledge of the development of the wire and telephone services in Medjimurje till 1946. Summary The author analyzes the development of the telegram and telephone services in Medjimurje till 1946. Analyzes literature, and then corrects and complements the well-known introduction of the sources of Croatian and Hungarian archives, most importantly, phone directories. Special attention is paid to the chronology and the availability of telegram or telephone. It refers to the importance of analyzing the directory from where they can find information on the political, demographic, economic and many other important social changes, which can be accurately determined by time and space. He publishes attachments of telephone directories for settlements in Medimurje.
