Summary/Abstract: The article analyzes specific and poorly known definitions of a "permanent labor contract" and a "sideline employment" under other laws besides the Bulgarian Labour Code; it comments on the existence/lack of mechanisms in the Bulgarian legislation/doctrine/practice for modifying the statement of work provisions of the sideline employee - converting from contingent to permanent labour contract. Bulgarian case law is summarised.
