STUDY ACHIEVEMENT E-PORTFOLIO SOLUTIONS IN THE SOCIAL NETWORK

Summary/Abstract: The paper analyses the possibilities of implementing and managing the learning achievement e-portfolio, using widespread Web 2.0 technologies and social network environments. An increasing amount of student‘s work is being done in electronic form, therefore the e-portfolio provides an effi cient way of viewing and using summary electronic information on student‘s acquired knowledge and skills. The success of e-portfolio approach largely depends on the selection of convenient open tools capable of stimulating the student‘s initiative in this process. Based on the examples of Microsoft Live@Edu electronic communication and collaboration environment, it is shown that e-portfolio solutions can be successfully implemented in the internet social network environment, using convenient information storage and analysis tools.
