Implementation of investment in the form of public-private partnership - theoretical aspect

Summary/Abstract: Public-private partnership is a form of realizing public tasks with the participation of private sector. In recent years this form of investment has gained popularity in European countries, as well as in Poland. In the article the authors present the issue of public-private partnership (PPP). In the first part of the article the authors consider the features and characteristics of PPPs as well as tools used in the process of PPP realization. In the second part the authors focuse on the forms of PPP in the context of the benefits of this form of investment, as well as barriers and problems that often make it impossible to implement the PPP in Poland.
