Analysis of the 4th plenary session’s communique of the 18th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China: an outline of the issues

Summary/Abstract: The concept of socialist rule of law with Chinese characteristics was the subject of the fourth plenary session of the 18th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China. The communique published after this meeting concerned some changes in legal system, separation of powers, human rights’ protection and reforms in legislation. The authority of the state formulated a list of conditions necessary to realize. The most important thing is to maintain the leadership of the Communist Party of China.
