PARTISAN DRAMA (1941-!945)

Summary/Abstract: There has been a lively theatrical activity in the partisan army during the second world war, which stimulated also the production of number of theatrical texts. This article is an abbreviated version of a larger research of these texts and historical development of partisan thetatre, therefore I will try to present the formation and work of the most important theatre groups (Slovenian National Theatre on a freed territory and some of the military groups), and analyse the structure of original texts using an analogy with commedia dell 'arte, which is limited to fixed characters and situations.
