Summary/Abstract: The author is dealing with the problem of criminal solution of the corruption in the Slovak Republic. He will point out the problem of corruption in general as well as its statistical occurrence. The main part of the article is the detailed analysis of the merits of the corruption mentioned in the third part of the eighth chapter of the special part of the Criminal law No300/2005 of the codes in §§ 328 – 336a named as acceptance of bribe, bribery, indirect corruption and electoral corruption. The mentioned criminal acts have a common name “Corruption”. In reality only the acts linked with the bribery are defined as a criminal acts which is a narrower term than a corruption.
