Summary/Abstract: Corruption is a negative social phenomenon since ancient times. Its specificity is relatively large dynamic development of newer and newer forms committing. Not only did the Polish legislator, but also the EU, has a big problem with defining it. New forms of corruption are now linked to globalization, especially in the area of trade. In the European Union legislative action is taken to reduce or eliminate corruption in all its forms. Normative achievements in this area is quite big, and it’s enough that you can now talk about the EU anti-corruption policy. Part of anti-corruption policy is the creation of legal aid policy and prejudices between Member States. Help this become a reality thanks to the new institutions established in the European Union. One of them is brought to life Eurojust to reinforcing the fight against serious crime.
