Summary/Abstract: The paper treats the internal form of the word, therefore the process "of linguism" or “marking", which deals with the ways how speakers of different languages perceive the reality, namely the selection of original linguistic elements that different language speaking communities set to mark a fact, to express a certain content etc., which cannot be explained in other way, except by tradition, culture, material world, mentality, reality knowledge level, natural conditions, lifestyle etc. The collection, filing, classification of compound denominations, in accordance to thematic indicator of the used field, and, above all, semantic and structural analysis, enables us to build a complete picture of these important lexical means, that serve to enrich the values of expressive means in all stylistic levels of vocabulary, by renewing it and making it more alive and more versatile. The material taken from FGjSSh (1980) (The Vocabulary of Today’s Albanian Langauge), with about 370 units, have been examined primarily on two broad thematic fields: of botany and zoology fields. In a very limited number of such compound words are in other fields as well. From a lexicon-semantic analysis of terminological consistent compound words, it appears that the process of naming, in these lexical units is based on semantic movements, accompanied with a visible figurative language, by language tropes, mainly by metaphor and metonymy. External indicators of the reality are thematic components of rising, developments and semantic movements of a large number of terminological consistent compound words.
