Summary/Abstract: The article describes the theoretical foundations of a system of indicators for assessing the competitiveness of small and medium-sized cities based on the study of foreign experience, proposed factors and criteria for evaluating the competitiveness of small and medium-sized cities of Belarus, which are adapted to the conditions of development of the Republic of Belarus, that will increase the integration potential of small and medium-sized towns.
