Summary/Abstract: The subject of the research is the development of agrarian sector of economy of Ukraine.The purpose of this article is to clarify the characteristics of effective development of the agricultural sector of Ukraine's economy and balance of participants in the agricultural market.Objectives of the study: to find out the specifics ensure the effective development of the agricultural sector of Ukraine's economy and to identify the main ways to harmonize and balance the interests of participants in the agricultural market (owners,manufacturers, States). Methods and methodology of research. Methodological basis of research is the dialectical method of cognition. Under this method uses the principle of contradiction. Structural-functional method was used to study the functional relationships in the process of harmonization and balance of interests of participants of the agricultural market (owners, manufacturers, States). The results of the work. The article discusses ways to ensure effective development of agrarian sector of economy of Ukraine. It was found that the agricultural sector of Ukraine is the backbone of the national economy, it also creates a food and economic security, ensures the development of technologically related sectors of the national economy, forming the market of agricultural products and food. It is proved that the agricultural sector is a link, which at this stage could become an engine of national economic development and to give impetus to investment, technological and social recovery in the state. Special attention is paid to specific aspects of the processes associated with the improvement of land relations, the development of individual forms of management and enterprise development and cooperation.The scope of the results: the theory and practice of development of agrarian sector of economy of Ukraine.The conclusions. For the purpose of increasing the efficiency and competitiveness of rural businesses with the participation of the state should: encourage the implementation of various rural businesses of innovative technologies; to provide state investment support in the implementation of innovation and investment projects, to enter a partial compensation of the cost of acquisition of highly productive livestock, equipment, new equipment, etc., all, both small and medium-sized businesses in rural areas; to develop credit co-operatives to provide short-term and long-term micro-loans; to stimulate the development of service cooperatives to provide households agronomic services; to provide for the infrastructure development of local markets for agricultural products; to promote the search for promising markets and protecting the interests of large agribusiness in the international markets; to provide subsidies for agricultural products to small and medium business entities in rural areas; to provide vocational agricultural education by members of private households and private entrepreneurs in rural areas.
