Summary/Abstract: The Visegrad Group is an alliance of four European Countries: Poland, Slovakia, Czech Republic and Hungary which was created in 1991. Fields of its activity have changed since 1991 and according to today`s challenges significant role plays common work to achieve energy security. This paper presents characteristic of energy security`s definitions, historical and political background of the Visegrad Four and an analysis of strong and weak points of V4 Countries` energy security based upon report of Kosciuszko Institute.
