Summary/Abstract: The aim of the present paper is to explore the common features of the well-known concept of marketing-mix, or the four P’s, and the use of it as a model to describe the linguistic landscape, more particularly, the schoolscapes in four schools of Covasna county, Romania. In the first part of my paper I try to present a qualitative approach to the linguistic landscape of these schools. My aim is to describe the visual manifestations of language teaching and to create a useful framework for their analysis by using a marketing concept. The qualitative research is based on interview analyses and the analysis of the displays related to language teaching.
