Romanian constitutional legislators and political integration of individuals and society

Summary/Abstract: This paper examines, according to the conceptual framework of Rudolf Smend’s integration theory, the role of successive Romanian Constitutional legislators in the political integration process of individuals and society in the state community. The main assumption of this essay is that the integration approach offers a more appropriate and accurate view in understanding and explaining both achievements and failures in Romanian constitutional history.
