Summary/Abstract: Attention on the role and functions of internet-portals in the power industry development is concentrated. Critical analysis is done and the essence of the concept ≪internet-portal≫ is carried out. Signs and varieties of internet-portals are selected. Common and specialized internet-portals of Poland, Russia, Ukraine and Bielorus are analysed. Two-sides advantages of the internet-portals are resulted, both for users and for businessmen.
