Summary/Abstract: The subject of the study is to define some elements of the world innovation ecosystem, the alternative ways of NIOKR funding by universities and serious efforts on their behalf in the commercialization of research through scientific and technological exchanges etc. The purpose of the scientific issues is to study and define the versatility aspects of the “innovation ecosystem”. Methodology. It is a study of contemporary domestic and foreign views on the definition of the modernization nature and state, and the innovative development of foreign economic activity of the countries in the world. The difficulties of the domestic economy in terms of innovation with a high level of international competition, a decrease in profits, reduction in product life cycles, fierce price situation require a review of current approaches and the development of a new concept of foreign economic activity in the context of innovation development through the introduction of new guidelines and vectors of its development. Conclusion. Each specific strategy of the foreign economic activity development is determined by the national macroeconomic policies, and the legal framework, and the forms of direct and indirect government control, scientific, technological and industrial potential, historical and cultural traditions etc. The terms of the innovative economy cause the transformation of management thought through the search and implementation of new management benchmark for the innovative development, allowing the country to find a niche in the global economic environment.
