Summary/Abstract: The article is devoted to the forms and the ways of semantic representation in the media texts, in the first place in television and internet. The author examines the concepts of information and interpretation as directly related to the category of value and the category of subjectivity. The article - in a critical light - shows and analyzes the methods of preparation of information as a means of persuasive influence of modern Russian journalism. This phenomenon is considered in the light of the concept of mediation.
