Summary/Abstract: An important source for teaching and learning geography in highschool aregeography paperslike encyclopaediaswhich include datasets and statistical data. The paperpresents means of using geography encyclopaedias in teaching and learning georgaphy inthe Xth grade, as well as political georgaphy, georgaphy of population or the worldeconomy. Using georgaphy encyclopaedias, datasets and statistical data allowsthe builidingof classifications, comparisons as well as the analysis of the dynamics in time of human andeconomical geographical situations.
