Summary/Abstract: Locatedroughly in the center of the country, Alba Iulia-Orăştir lane is a contact zone betweendifferent units and different levels of relief. It is a combination of two lanes: a sector of AlbaIulia-Aiud-Turda lane, extended to Sebes and Orăştiei lane.. Geographical environment ofthe area has changed due to natural and anthropogenic factors. The impact of humanactivities on the landscape relate to air quality, hydrographic changes, changing biodiversity,vegetation and fauna, changes in edaphic horizon, changes in protected areas andanthropogenic pressure on the land.
