Summary/Abstract: The author suggests to expand a circle of traditional historical sources studying separate professional groups of intelligentsia trying to find the «internal» layer of sources for reconstruction of private and everyday life during 169 the Soviet époque. In the article technical documentation (in particular, architectural project) is represented as source for studying such understudied group of the technical intelligentsia as Soviet architects. The period from 1930-s to 1950-s essentially differs from other historical periods since the professional activity of architects was directed at this time on the solution of social tasks and implementation of the political tasks.
