Graduals and Hymnbooks in Transylvania Known from Indirect Sources

Summary/Abstract: This article focuses on graduals and gradual-like hymnbooks which are known merely from secondary sources, mainly protocols and stock lists. At the same time, while presenting these sources, I venture a suggestion regarding the process by which the change has taken place from the gradual-singing to using strophic hymbooks within the protestant churches.
