Summary/Abstract: The addictions are a major problem of the modern world. Their types are varied and various Social security can be described as a is providing the existence and the development of person and the whole society. The family may be defined as the basic social group . Providing a sense of security to the family is a necessary condition to guarantee the social security. The safety of the family is only possible when the family operates on the correct principles, and each of the family members fully and correctly realizes the assigned functions . Therefore, you can bet the conclusion that the correct model of the family is one of the basic prerequisites causing the safety of the entire society. There are many models of family. One of them is the family picture emerging from the teaching of the Catholic Church. Its basis is found in the Scriptures and in the Catholic Church documents such as documents of Vatican II , the Catechism of the Catholic Church from 1992 , encyclicals and exhortations or the teaching of the popes .The subject of this paper is to show the family in light of the teachings of the Catholic Church and to present its functions and roles which the individual members of the family should serve. The aim of this study is however an indication that the functioning of the family based on the guidelines of the Catholic Church’s teaching makes family functions properly and correctly and thus members of individual families have a sense of security, which have a direct bearing on the sense of security of the whole society.
