Summary/Abstract: In this paper the author presents the issue of miracles in the twentieth century Russian thought, as examined on three planes: of religious philosophy, atheistic, and apologetic (Orthodox). It also discusses the Soviet dialectic materialism’s approach to the issue of miracles, as well as the attempts to find grounds for the possibility of miracles according to the Orthodox apologetics in the context of polemics with the representa-tives of atheistic worldview.
