Summary/Abstract: The paper presents the results of the archaeological excavations performed during 2003-2009in the South sector of Histria. The first part is focused on the archaeological discoveries from the spot conventionally called Tower K-extra-muros, where two phases of a platform made of rolled stone, sloping towards south, were observed. According to the author's assumption, this construction is a harbor facility or a moorage point, probably connected with the last phase of the Histria harbor (6th-7th centuries AD). The results of the excavations made in the area of Early Roman Defence Wall are presented in the second part of the paper. The purpose of the archaeological investigations resumed in the above-mentioned sector was to verify older information about the disappearance in the southern part of the defence wall in the sand. The results of the excavations prove the defence wall was not lost, but its constructed end was situated in the Early Roman period on the coast.
