Status of the Roma in Slovakia

Summary/Abstract: The author in the text of a brief characterization of the contemporary situation of the Roma in Slovakia with regard to the policy pursued by the state. Particular attention is paid to the social and legal situation of this minority in relation to current political events. Do not forget about the historical and cultural context by presenting the current position of the Slovak Roma. It also indicates the inclusion of cultural anthropology. It highlights changes in culture and attitude of the community in the twenty-first century.
