Summary/Abstract: As a result of economic transformations in Russia leasing has become a very important source of financing enterprises development. Regulations relating to leasing contracts in Russia are oriented to International Accounting Standards (IASs) and are being continuously improved. This paper describes leasing in accounting regulations and tax regulations in Russia.
