Summary/Abstract: Three wonderful women have had a great impact on my life: Professor Zofia Ostrowska-Kębłowska, the supervisor of my MA thesis at the Department of Art History at the University of Wrocław, Professor Ewa Chojecka: great art historian, creator of the Department of Art History at the University of Silesia, and Anda Rottenberg, with whom for years we shared the director’s position of the Warsaw Zachęta gallery.
