Summary/Abstract: The analysis of the figure of Stefan Kisielewski (1911-1991)– collumnist of “Tygodnik Powszechny” became the subject of the presented article. The serial writer, being the influental member of opposition, was one of the most known contestants of the comunist period’s reality in Poland. Thanks to his outstanding journalise and sence of humour he beacame well known to the wide ranges of publics. Kisielewski had to interract with the communist regime to get the possibility to criticize it. Therefore, as a potential revolutonary, he was invigilated by regime’s security services, which interfered in his life. In his own opinion, Kisielewski was “the only rightful oppositionist”. As he claimed his opinion loudly, the government couldn’t decide how to manage with the person. Towards this situation the authorities could only try to intimidiate and discredit Kisielewski in the eyes of the opposition.
