Actional classification of verbs in Nanai

Summary/Abstract: This article deals with the description of verbal actionality classes in Nanai. First, theoretical ground and methods which are used to investigate actionality classes are discussed. The second part of the article is dedicated to the description of the Nanai verbal classes on the base of S. Tatevosov’s methods. Problems connected with this procedure are also considered. A list of Nanai verbal actionality classes which were revealed with the help of elicitation is the main result of the article.
