Increase in rental fees as a result of tenants’ rights protection

Summary/Abstract: Article concerns consequences of introducing tenant protection on level of rental fees. Author analyses how introducing maximum rental fees and denying tenant from dissolving rental contract, in case lessor delays in payments, impacts on rental market. Based on his research author comes to conclusion that introducing such regulations is unreflective from economical point of view as it leads to increase in market prices and making situation of poor people even harder.
