Summary/Abstract: In the context of a wider research undertaken among doctors with regard to their information practices and the use of electronic information resources, this paper analyses the possibility of any collaboration between doctors in university clinics and the medical librarians. It also explores doctors’ views regarding the possible role of the medical librarians working at the Central Library of the “Carol Davila” University of Medicine and Pharmacy-Bucharest and their potential integration as members within the clinical and research teams.
