Summary/Abstract: The article discusses the current issues of the discrete functioning of fundamental social institutions such as law and economics. The logical outcome of this situation is a significant social differentiation of the Russian population, the negative effects of which alter the quality of legal relations, studied, among other things, by the general legal theory of marginality.
